Since Penn is going to Venezuela for journailsm reasons, I wonder if he'll interview all the Venezuelan journalists who lost their jobs this summer because Chavez pulled the plug on their stations. I also wonder if he'll interview all the Venezuelans who took to the streets of Caracas after that happened. Is freedom of speech a luxury only for people like Sean Penn? Chavez rigged the last election and the Venezuelan people are getting sick and tired of him. Penn is worse than a traitor. He supports people who literally brutalize their own people and deny them of all civil liberties. Like father like son. I hope he gets a little too friendly with these dictators and give the Feds a reason to lock his crazy ass up and throw the key away.

100. So many friggin uneducateds, posting. Sean is someone obviously who has taken the time to go over and investigate a little on what is going on in Hugo's country. He has taken the time to, not listen to our press, but go over and see for himself what the country and the leadership is about. Our press can be biased at times and can be manipulated to steer the masses of our countries. It is their duty to do so. Sean is intelligent enough and I assume wealthy enough to do things that are important, such as getting a third party opinion on things. This man lives his life with some importance and fortunately has the resources to do so. I have no doubt in my mind that Sean loves this country very much, it is the place that gave him the abilities to do what he is doing. So to you who question Seans patriotism, please give him a break and let him digest his trip overseas and tell us his version. For some reason, I would trust Seans word over a lot of other media venues! Think about that for a second, I think some of you would agree. Sean Penn for PRESIDENT! You go Sean!
