Chavez Chills with Sean Penn

Rabble-rousing actor/Madonna ex Sean Penn is taking his show on the road -- with Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. The politically-charged star has been hanging with Venezuela's socialist leader during a tour of the Venezuelan countryside.

The Chavez-Penn love affair was sparked, said Chavez, because Penn is "anti-Bush." Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte have also had face time with the Venezuelan leader.

Said Penn of his visit: "I'm also here as a journalist and so I owe it to that medium to wait until I've digested, fact-checked and finished my journey here" before saying more. The "Mystic River" actor has also done reporting stints in Iran and Iraq.

347. Penn and his overpriveleged troop of idiots are all traitors. By the way, they can lose their citizenship and be kicked out of this country by the government for treason. I see these people as a threat to national security. You may want to check out the legal definition of treason. Interesting. I'm wondering why we don't have any petitions to get these people's citizenships revoked and kick their nasty asses out of the country they seem to hate so much?? This is in your face treachery.

348. For all you people who want to Bush Bash. Consider this, NONE of the politicians across the nation have endorsed the acts of these people as "a good idea". Why, because it is treason. Believe only a 1/4 of what is printed in the papers - I don't even read them anymore. The people from Venezuela (I know personally) will give you a very different look at this Dictator and his policies, etc. They hate him. As for the narcissists in Hollywood, please remember these people do nothing for anyone else unless it somehow promotes them personally in some way. They make a living from using the media and other people to get what they want. Don't be blinded - How could this trip have ever helped anyone? What is it that he really accomplished? It got his nasty face on this article basically.
